Shared Lessons

Occasionally, I am asked to teach two or more students at a time. This is usually within the same family, when the students are either close in age or ability. It can work well, as the students gain moral support from each other and they can discuss the work as they go along. It can also have the completely opposite effect! Sometimes, the distraction of having their sibling or friend can slow down their learning or have a negative effect on their confidence if the other student completes the work faster.

I am more than happy to take lessons with two or more students but do like to keep an eye on their progress, in case I think it could better helped by reverting to one to one lessons. Please get in touch if you think this might suit you and your family, or you would like to share lessons with a friend.
