As with all my tuition, the work and approach are based around the individual needs of my students. I work with such a variety of ages and abilities and am used to adapting to help them understand their work and achieve their potential.I work with all levels in English, from pre-school to A Level. This can involve anything from the most basic of literacy, such as spelling, punctuation etc, to developing a student's creative writing or exam level coursework.
I am used to working with reluctant learners and taking the work at a pace to suit each student. Everyone is different, so there is no standard lesson plan, just as there is no standard student. I usually start with general exercises and build from there on the areas that need the most work. I also welcome any input from the student's school and am more than happy to work in tandem with their teachers, supporting classroom activities and any specialist help they may already be receiving.
