I am now taking bookings for a new series of creative writing workshops, to be held at venues around Cumbria. With the emphasis on exploring creative skills in a friendly, light-hearted atmosphere, my workshops can be enjoyed by anyone with an interest in creative writing, from absolute beginners to the more experienced writers.
The workshops are held as half day and full day events, letting you dip a toe in the water or immerse yourself in a full day of creative expression. The exercises and activities are flexible to suit personal abilities.The half day is usually between 3 and 4 hours long, the full day between 6 and 7, with breaks for coffee and lunch. Please specify which you might be interested in when you contact me.
This year, I am also offering writing events for children. If you would like your child to attend, or are interested in organising a workshop for your group, please contact me for more details, as discounts are available for group bookings.
Prices: Prices start at £7 per person, for a half day workshop. When bookings are made on a group basis, prices are charged for the workshop as a whole and not per person, which means a smaller charge per person.Venues: Current locations are Cockermouth and Penrith, with venues to be confirmed. I am in the process of arranging venues in Carlisle and Kendal. All venues chosen will have parking available. Full details will be posted on here as soon as dates and times have been confirmed. Book a Place: To confirm your place on either a half or a full day workshop, please use the Paypal button below or contact me to arrange payment. The booking fee, per person, is the same for all workshops. Your place on the workshop of your choice will be guaranteed and is on a 'first come first served' basis'. If, for any reason, the workshop does not proceed, all monies will be refunded. If you cannot attend your chosen workshop, please contact me at least two days in advance. After this time, your booking fee is non-refundable as costs will already have been incurred. Group bookings also require a booking fee per person, but please contact me with numbers required and I will send an invoice or arrange alternmative payment.
