My name is Amanda Harrington and I am a professional tutor in English and Maths, in the West Cumbria area. I am also the author of fiction and non-fiction books for children, including 'The Boy Who Broke the School' and 'The Creative Writing Textbook for Children', both published by Winter Witch Books.
I have been a full-time private tutor for the past 7 years, but first began tutoring twenty years ago, before studying for my degree. I have experience working with classes and assemblies, as well as individual students. I have worked with both adults an children. I have also home educated my two sons for the past 8 years.
